Denia and Jose’s story

by: Aaron Du Bay at Lutheran Family Services of the Rocky Mountains

Denia could not wait to see her brother. She held back tears as we informed her that she would be able to see him the next day thanks quick work from Miles4Migrants. She was most excited to introduce her son, Jose, to his aunt, uncle and cousins. Young Jose’s has been battling illness throughout their two-week journey of sleepless nights, cold weather and precarious transportation. Denia is certain that being with family will finally heal him. Overwhelmed with gratitude, she made the site coordinator promise to relay her sincerest thanks to the organization and wish onto them good fortune and God’s blessings.
